Sludge/rock duo Jucifer will release their next album Throned In Blood on April 6^th, the follow up to 2008’s L’Autrichienne (Relapse/Alternative Tentacles). The band, consisting of married couple Amber Valentine (guitar, vocals) and Edgar Livengood (drums), will release their latest set on their own label Nomadic Fortress, with the vinyl version once again handled by AT. Says Amber of the record: “It’s about how we destroy ourselves in our efforts to conquer and rule. We end up with power that twists and handicaps us. We create our own doom. War, religion, betrayal, genocide, and the ultimate futility of human existence.“  The band plan to perform the album in its entirety on the upcoming US/European tour.
