Witch offshoot Sweet Apple, featuring J Mascis (drums/guitar/vocals) and Witch colleague Dave Sweetapple (bass/vocals), along with Tim Parnin (guitar) and John Petkovic (vocals/guitar, ex-Guided By Voices) of Cobra Verde, will release their debut album Love & Desperation on April 19th via Tee Pee Records. The latest band to feature Dinosaur Jr frontman Mascis is described variously as “rock n roll”, “wounded pop” and “nihilistic singalong” – check out the first cut ‘Do You Remember’ here
