Last spring post-rockers Mono flew from Japan to New York City to perform two nights with the esteemed Wordless Music Orchestra. The 90-minute set, played by a 30-piece Mono, was captured by producer Matt Bayles (Isis, Botch, Mastodon) and filmed by “a team of poorly-paid superfriends” – the resulting CD+DVD set, as well as a limited-edition 3xLP+DVD, of the concert is scheduled for release via Temporary Residence in March.
