Chicago metal outfit Lair Of The Minotaur have completed work on their fourth full-length, Evil Power. The album will be released on April 13 via The Grind-House Records, an independent record label started by Steve Rathbone, Chris Wozniak (both from LOTM) and Josh Diebel (former head of Alley Sweeper Records), and will be distributed by the band’s previous home, Southern Lord. The album, featuring new bassist Nate Olp (of Demiricous), was recorded in Chicago’s Semaphore Studios by Sanford Parker and mastered by Scott Hull. Says Rathbone of the record: “If War Metal Battle Master was the war, Evil Power is the party after a bloody victory.”
