Los Angeles post-rock quintet Red Sparowes, featuring Bryant Clifford Meyer of Isis, have completed their third album, The Fear Is Excruciating, But Therein Lies The Answer. The follow-up to 2006’s Every Red Heart Shines Toward The Red Sun (Neurot) was recorded at Infrasonic Sound by Toshi Kasai of Melvins and Big Business fame, and is described as having “layered arrangements and swirling amplified crescendos, Americana noir soundscapes and gloriously triumphant melodies.” The album is set for release on Sargent House on April 6^th.
