Drum legend Dave Lombardo (Slayer, Fantômas) recently spoke to Rock-A-Rolla about his latest project PHILM, and the whereabouts of the long-awaited new Fantômas album.
“Dale [Crover] took my place for a little because I was in Slayer World, but Patton and I have spoken,” Dave tells us of his involvement in the supergroup, also featuring Mike Patton, Buzz Osborne and Trevor Dunn. “I have to be very careful what I say because it’s like wildfire, next thing you know Fantômas has a new album out – NO! Patton and I have spoken, and yes there is the possibility but don’t hold your breath. I don’t know when.”
PHILM recently released their debut album, Harmonic, via Ipecac. Check out the full interview with Dave Lombardo in issue 38, available to order HERE
